Sample apps news II.
Hi all developers again!
I just wanted to share with you some of the great news about our sample apps.
Ondrej also went ahead with introducing support for so called high-order components. You can read more about it in the wiki. With HOC, it is possible to better re-use the existing logic in React apps. That's awesome!
Speaking of heroes, I'd like to also say thanks to Bee Martinez who took care of proofreading our Spanish version of the sample site content, together with translating all the texts that missed their Spanish version. Excellent job, Bee.
There's also been a great news in the .NET boilerplate project. Thanks to Alfred Brockötter, the boilerplate became an ASP.NET Core 2.0 project.
Also, the full support of cache invalidation via web hooks is currently in the works. While implementing the invalidation, we're also working on introducing the Reactive Extensions (Rx.NET) into the boilerplate.
As you can see, the sample apps become more and more mature, following the rapid evolution of our headless CMS. And the best part is that you, developers, had the biggest impact on what our sample apps look like. If you're wondering what could be your next awesome pull request, then, for instance, you can take a plunge and help us with converting our ASP.NET MVC 5 sample app to ASP.NET Core. And of course, you can pick whatever smaller issue you like. We welcome any kind of contributions.
Let us know what you'd like to see in our sample apps. We'll gladly get in touch with you and discuss that further on.
